We were contacted by Lagoa Municipality to create a promotional brand of the Algarvean borough as a tourist destination. The brand’s identity would have to include a potential promise to its visitors. This identity has two very defined angles: one is the aspiration aspect (the strategic final goal of the brand) and the other is the brand’s image that resides in the consumer’s mind.
We created the concept “Dive into the discovery”: when we discover Lagoa we also discover ourselves. For any destination to successfully communicate with its target audience, it needs to know what makes it unique, and that is its identity. And our strategy reflected that.
Lagoa Municipality decided that the brand would be adopted as its new institutional image.
